Fish and chips

Posted in Food, Travel by joncrispin on 23/03/2012

I usually don’t post pictures of food but due to popular demand, here it is.  It was haddock which to me is just a bit better than cod.  Sublime.

This has made me so nostalgic for my home town – London. I’ve been in Paris for a few years now and you just can’t get a beautifully battered piece of haddock like that here…oh and mushy peas too! Sublime indeed.

    I’m enjoying your trip photos.
I haven’t been over there since 1979, so I’ve been enjoying this trip vicariously.
I have to admit that this one gave me a real moment of nostalgia. (Funny how things take you back!)

Wow! They have guacamole in England? Never thought of having the mashed avocado/chile salsa as a side dish to fish & chips, but looks good.
