New Year’s Day 2018

This is the annual Polar Bear Plunge on the island.  It takes a special kind of person to run into the Atlantic when the outside temperature is 30 degrees.

A very quiet day today.  Still recovering a bit from flu and the 18 hour drive, but this is the place to do it.

Butterfly

Because of the color, I thought this was a Monarch, but when he (or she) alit I realized it wasn’t.  Lovely weather down here on the island.  I’m off for a walk on the beach.
