San Francisco
Hey everyone, tomorrow I fly to San Francisco to help plan how my portion of the “Changing Face of What is Normal” exhibit will be hung. (Providing Logan in Boston is open for business. We had 20 inches of snow here in Western Massachusetts overnight, and Boston got totally wailed.) I’ll try to post daily from out there. I don’t know how much free time I will have, if any, but if you are in the area and want to meet up for a brief visit, just send me an email. It might work. This photo is from Flora T’s case. I think I published it in an earlier post, but lately this image has been sticking with me. The print I made is absolutely beautiful.
Hmm, my flight out of Logan tomorrow canceled. Hope yours lifts off and that you fare well in SF!
Give my regards to The City By The Bay! For years I lived nearby in Sacramento but when the opportunity presented it self, I headed to the south of France and no regrets. Yet, San Francisco was always a special place not only for me but for my children.
Hey Jon, Welcome to the Bay Area. Can’t tell you how exciting it is that you will have some of the first work shown in the new Exploratorium. This is just crazy good.
If you are so inclined on this trip we could go for a short walk or grab a beer, tea or a few oysters. If you are jammed busy I’ll see you in the spring.
Cheers, Katie formerly of Forrest Home Drive
Hi! I just “Stumbled Upon” your work, and I am fascinated. I am an oil painting student and I would love to paint some of these for school. Are there prints I can buy to work from? Its hard to get detail from pixel-ized photos. Than you, your work is amazing!!
